1. How to Modify Separate/Combined Positions
1. Log in to the Megabit app and go to the contract trading page. Click on the position change button highlighted in the red box.
2.In the position mode options, select “Cross Margin Combine,” “Cross Margin Separate,” “Isolated Margin Combine,” or “Isolated Margin Separate.” After selecting, click the confirmation button below (the selected mode will be displayed within the box).
Note: If there are existing positions for the same trading pair, you cannot switch between margin modes. Switching is only possible for different trading pairs.
II. Changes in Relevant Data After Selecting “Combine Positions” for Opening
Step 1: When opening a position with 1 BTC for the first time, you will see the following data:
•Current Position Quantity: 1 BTC
•Margin: 298.1655
•Opening Price: 59633.1
•Estimated Liquidation Price: 59573.4
Step 2: After opening a long position with an additional 2 BTC, the position details will be updated as follows:
•Position Quantity: 3 BTC (including the original 1 BTC and the additional 2 BTC)
•Margin: 894.4475
•Opening Price:59629.9 (average opening price for the 3 BTC)
•Estimated Liquidation Price: 59560.2
Step 1: After opening a short position with 1 BTC, the position details will show:
•Position Quantity: 1 BTC
Step 2: After opening an additional short position of 2 BTC, you will see:
•Existing Positions: Two separate positions are displayed: one for the original 1 BTC and one for the newly opened 2 BTC.
•Separate Display: In the isolated margin mode, the two orders are not combined but displayed separately, each with its own opening price, estimated liquidation price, and margin.
